As a pole of excellence in human and social sciences in Brussels, the Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis enjoy all the advantages of a multicultural metropolis that are essential for teaching, research and student life in general. A university at the heart of the city, the Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis today have more than 2600 students spread between three major fields of study : Philosophy, The arts and humanities, as well as Legal, economic, social and political sciences. Bilingual programmes (French-English and French-Dutch) and trilingual programmes (French-Dutch-English) are proposed in the Faculties of legal, economic, social and political sciences. The Institute of European Studies offers a 120-credit Master’s in European studies and a Complementary Master’s in the interdisciplinary analysis of European construction. Around fifteen research centres and three interdisciplinary institutes reflect the dynamism of the university’s researchers.
