In September 2025, three higher education institutions  (HEH, HEA, HE Condorcet) in Wallonia are joining forces to launch a brand-new Bachelor’s degree in Applied Games – a first of its kind in the French-speaking region of Belgium.

👉 The goal? To train a new generation of creative innovators who can harness video game technologies to tackle real-world challenges in healthcare, education, culture, and industry.

This 3-year transition bachelor’s programme is open without any technical prerequisites and focuses on:
✅ Project-based learning
✅ Skills in VR, AI, 3D engines, coding, physics, and maths
✅ Real-world experience with an internship in the third year
✅ Expert-led teaching, independent game producer and Wallimage gaming jury member

🇧🇪 French-speaking Belgium is becoming a stronghold for forward-thinking video game education, combining creativity, inclusivity, and technical rigour.

📍 Designed for students passionate about science, IT, and digital creation, this programme welcomes international applicants eager to explore emerging technologies and collaborative work.

A Master’s degree in Video Game – Industry Track is already planned for 2028 in Charleroi.
