Exciting News! Liège Recognized as a "Learning City" by UNESCO 

We are thrilled to announce that Liège has been officially recognized as a "Learning City" by UNESCO. With nearly 100,000 students and 9 higher education institutions, including the prestigious University of Liège with over 25,000 students, the city is a vibrant hub of learning and culture.
As a "Learning City," Liège aims to focus on three key areas:
1. Bridging the digital divide.
2. Promoting inclusive knowledge-sharing, especially for young girls, socioeconomically disadvantaged groups, and individuals with disabilities.
3. Cultivating critical thinking skills, particularly through scientific inquiry with a civic perspective.
