Introducing Uccopia: Europe's First Inter-University NGO!

Three leading Belgian universities Université libre de Bruxelles, Université de Liège and UMONS are joining forces to launch a groundbreaking initiative: 𝗨𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗮, 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗚𝗢, set to officially launch in January 2026.

This new organisation stems from the merger of 𝗘𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗼 (ULiège) and 𝗨𝗟𝗕-𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, two well-established university NGOs with strong track records in international cooperation. 𝗨𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀 is also fully committed to this innovative structure, alongside other higher education institutions that will join the initiative.

To build bridges between knowledge and communities by mobilising academic expertise to tackle key global challenges in close collaboration with local actors.

Active in 𝟵 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝟰 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, Ucoopia aims to strengthen the impact of academic cooperation, while upholding values of engagement, innovation and solidarity.
