WBI IS CALLING FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2025-2026 “CITIZENS OF THE WORLD” PROGRAM FOR PROJECTS TO BE CARRIED OUT BETWEEN NOVEMBER 1, 2025, AND OCTOBER 31, 2026.

WBI provides financial support for students from higher education institutions in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation to participate in international pleading competitions and simulation exercises within international organizations.

The objectives of the pleading competitions are to encourage emulation, research, and the deepening of legal knowledge, to promote law, and to encourage public speaking. They are a practical complement to theoretical university teaching.

Simulation exercises in international organizations are an ideal opportunity to understand this type of institution. Their purpose is to train participants in international negotiations, improve their understanding of political and technical issues, and develop their communication, international relations, and diplomatic skills. They aim to expose students to real high-level discussions by having them play the role of official delegates representing the positions of a country within an important multilateral institution.

Through this program, Wallonia-Brussels International aims to open young people's minds to the world of international relations and educate them about the principles of international organizations. It seeks to develop students' professional skills, promote relations between students, and encourage understanding, international cooperation, mutual respect, and cultural diversity.

Applications can be submitted from today until November 15 for programs taking place between November 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026.
