Programme description
The NAWA PRELUDIUM BIS 1 programme aims to support the international mobility of doctoral students by enabling them to carry out internships linked to participation in research projects in the framework of the National Science Centre PRELUDIUM BIS 1 (NCN) competition.
Internships abroad will allow PhD students to gain scientific experience in European and non-European academic or research centres and to establish international scientific cooperation. This will be in synergy with the PRELUDIUM BIS 1 projects of the National Science Centre (NCN).
Duration
From 3 to 6 months.
Financial terms
The funding under the programme covers the grant holder's costs related to his/her stay in a host centre abroad and a mobility allowance. In the case of a scholarship holder with a severe or moderate disability, the amount of the scholarship may be increased if the guardian participates in the trip.

The application for funding of the internship abroad should be submitted by a doctoral student enrolled in a doctoral school at a Polish university, with a research project that has received funding under the PRELUDIUM BIS 1 call for projects of the National Science Centre (NCN).
Level of study required
Doctoral studies.

Application process
How to apply
Applications must be submitted via the NAWA computer system: https://programs.nawa.gov.pl/login in the period from 4 January 2021 to 10 December 2024, before 15.00 hours according to the official time in Poland, only in electronic form. The application can be submitted after registration in the system available at https://programs.nawa.gov.pl.
The application and attachments must be in Polish. Only the invitation from the Scholar's Host Centre (attached) will be in English.
Deadline
The project may be implemented for a period of 3 to 6 months, starting no earlier than 4 April 2021 and no later than 10 March 2025.
