Programme description

The Student Mobility programme enriches the educational experience of students aged 18 to 35.

LOJIQ offers guidance and financial support for student projects involving mobility in Québec, Canada or abroad.


One or two consecutive study sessions.

Financial terms

All accepted projects are subject to funding conditions relating to the transport of participants. This funding method takes into account the destination of the project.

For projects using air transport for their mobility, a lump sum or 65% of the cost of the air ticket up to a maximum of $750 is granted.

A maximum amount established according to the destination is granted upon presentation of a return economy class ticket from Montreal or Quebec City airports. Some exceptions may be accepted for nearby airports.

Study sessions receive financial support in the form of a lump sum established according to the geographical area in which the project is carried out: $485 for Wallonia-Brussels.

Eligibility criteria

Nationality.ies – Profile

Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Quebec (must have lived in Quebec for at least one year if the project is being carried out internationally).

Holder of a valid Quebec health insurance card (RAMQ) (valid at the time of submission of the project and for the entire duration of the stay).

Full-time student at a college or university in Quebec.
