Université de Liège (ULiège) has developed the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘀 (𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗛𝗩-𝟭). This unique innovation comes from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (Prof. Alain Vanderplasschen – WEL Research Institute).
👉 Through a licensing agreement with 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗯𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, a leading Chinese animal health company, the vaccine will soon be rolled out on the Asian market – where the stakes are high for both aquaculture sustainability and the preservation of a threatened species.
